I’ll start this post by stating I am not a personal trainer and have no healthcare training or anything of the sort. This post is to share a few of my favourite no equipment workouts I’ve come across with those who are interested. Tips are from personal experience but you should consult with a personal trainer or healthcare professional before starting any diet, exercise, supplementation or medication program.
One of the best places to find simple body weight workouts is Pinterest. There are tons of no equipment exercises you can do at home, at the gym, while traveling at your hotel/hostel or even a park!
A few (free) fitness apps I love are:
Down Dog: a yoga app with a variety of yoga sequences accompanied by music.
Sworkit: an app with it all – yoga, cardio, strength
Daily Ab/Butt/Leg/Arm Workout: four apps with workouts designed to target each group
I also love the Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines – it’s a 28 minute workout split into four 7-minute circuits. It’s honestly so hard and on top of the 28 minute workouts you add cardio and stretching/restoration but it works! Don’t forget to warm-up before and stretch after though!!
I’ve rounded up a few workouts that are simple and easy to do while on the go. None of these workouts are of my own design and I found them all on Pinterest.

Adding small workouts throughout your day is an excellent way to get in some exercise. Whether it’s one of these workouts, a walk at lunch, cycling to/from work, or taking a yoga class, a little is better than none. I like these workouts because they’re easy to do at home, you don’t need to spend anything to get through them and they make you feel good at the end of the day (maybe not during though).
If you need a little bit of motivation, you can do these challenges with friends, family or coworkers.
