Ottawa’s Tulip Festival

This year was the 65th Canadian Tulip Festival, held in Ottawa during the first two weeks of May (blooming season for the tulips). This year is also Canada’s 150th birthday. I finally made it to the tulip festival this weekend and thought I would share some of the tulips from this year’s batch. Hopefully it provides you with inspiration to visit Ottawa!

There are three locations that are officially part of the Tulip Festival: Landsdowne Park, Dow’s Lake and Parliament hill. The festival is officially over but the tulips are still in full bloom and definitely worth the visit.
